Through a year-long commitment, participating companies pledge to support an area that means the most to them: a specific shelter, age population, number of recipients, or unrestricted funds. This meaningful partnership ensures that no birthday goes unnoticed, while allowing businesses to make a direct, tangible impact close to home.
What is the Goal of the Celebration Pledge?
The goal of the Celebration Pledge is to strengthen the bond between local businesses and their communities by creating meaningful, lasting impact. By focusing their support on one specific shelter or a specific number of foster care recipients, companies can witness firsthand the difference their generosity makes. This program transforms charitable giving into a tangible, memorable experience, bringing joy, recognition, and a sense of belonging to the most vulnerable who need it most. By joining the Celebration Pledge, sponsors don’t just give—they become champions for children, ensuring every birthday is recognized, every child is celebrated, and every act of generosity leaves a lasting impression.
What Companies Receive
Participating businesses that join the Celebration Pledge will receive meaningful opportunities to engage, connect, and be recognized for their commitment to social responsibility and community impact, including:
- Personal Thank Yous – Heartfelt letters and photos from the children and teens they’ve helped celebrate (Photos shared only when written parental permission is received.)
- Recognition and Visibility – A certificate from One Wish Project, acknowledgment across our social media platforms, and a featured spotlight on our website
- Engagement Opportunities – Priority access for volunteer opportunities
- Community Connection – A direct relationship with the shelter they are supporting, allowing partners to see the local, tangible impact of their pledge
- One Wish- A Night of Celebration – all pledgers will be invited as our guests to this premier event in October, 2026 bringing together Pledge partners, supporters, and community members to honor the collective impact of this work
